Can the town tell us the reasoning behind this? Is this for the sewer ponds? Can they not use the REAP grant for the repairs?

If it does come about, here are a few ideas. Having lived here less than 5 years, I see a huge need for housing, recycling, a new animal shelter and as the above stated, a new filtration system for our water.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042245802826086644.post-55731802394896830632008-12-04T22:31:00.000-06:002008-12-04T22:31:00.000-06:00The total per month will be 14 bucks. 7 on the wa...The total per month will be 14 bucks. 7 on the water bill and 7 on the sewer bill. It is my belief that the original intent is to direct the money to the public trust authority which would actually decide how to use it for town improvements. It is important that this happens otherwise it will only go into Leah's hands to be put into CD's. The town does not need to increase it's savings account with our tax money. Be sure and remind your board members to follow through with their original intentions and to earmark all of this increase to the trust so that improvements can be made to this town. The staff is already wanting to put it into their existing budget so they can sit on it like the rest of the CD's they have. 6 figure CD's that have done nothing for this town but draw intrest.onsidebuffalohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04580626863609723679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042245802826086644.post-8912692380847607912008-12-04T19:04:00.000-06:002008-12-04T19:04:00.000-06:00Need some help here. I really hope the town uses this money wisely. Maybe figure out a way to get the nasty crusty crap out of our drinking water.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
